The 3rd Annual Forestburgh Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., RAIN OR SHINE.
The location is at the Forestburgh Fire House located on Route 42 – 8 miles South of Monticello and 16 miles North of Port Jervis.
The event is free and open to the public, among the many attractions will be live music, pioneer reenactments at our historic log cabin, old time silent movies along with attractions for the children. There will also be a 5K race to benefit Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties. There will be a chicken barbecue, to benefit the Forestburgh Fire Department from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and the Fire Department will have hot dogs, soft drinks and snacks available throughout the day.
We invite all artists, craftspeople, vendors and exhibitors to show and sell quality handicrafts and high level imports as well as collectibles and antiques.
The deadline to apply for an exhibitor space is JUNE 30, 2008.
Spaces are 10 x 10 and the fee is $25.00 per space. Checks and money orders are to be made payable to the Forestburgh Fire Department. Fees must accompany the completed application. Unsigned applications will not be accepted.
