Marriage Licenses are issued any time the office
is open, or by appointment. You and your intended
spouse must appear in person and provide proof of
age either by Birth Certificate, Passport, Driver’s
License. You must also produce your Social Security
Card. If either the Bride or Groom was married previously,
certified divorce papers or a certified death certificate
must be produced. There is a 24 hour waiting period
between when the license is issued and when you
can be married. The license is valid for 60 days
and is good throughout the entire State of New York.
The fee for a marriage license is $40.00
